Opposition needs a clear strategy..

If the opposition were selling a product, they are making a lousy job marketing it... For now, everyone is buying, it's a produit-du-jour, but for a product to have long term success, it has to be clearly positioned and its Brand consistently presented. The Opposition is confusing the consumer in the average Lebanese, and they have to fix that before the emotions dull out..

The same night when some opposition leaders were telling everyone to stay in martyr square untill all their demands are met, Walid Jumblat tells Radio France International that the opposition would now join an impartial government that oversees a free and fair election. Yesterday Jumblat announces that he wants the president to resign, and the Harirists declare that their main objective is finding the truth about Harriri's murder..

Sometimes, ambiguity can be good, but the American media is already making noises about not needing to rush into Damascus, and unless the opposition is really clear and consistent, the Americans would decide to buy another product -Made in Syria- which at least they know what it's all about..
